Christopher Phelps is an artist currently living in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. A native of upstate New York, he was a integral member of Nice Guys Productions Inc. where he worked as a Director/Editor/Producer on many film projects, including The Ravacon Show, a local-access television series (2005). He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Film from Full Sail University, a competitive program where students apply and pitch for positions, in which he directed HD, 16mm, and 35mm films. He formed the film production company Ursidae Parade Productions with colleague’s at The Ravacon Collective, an art collective based out of both Brooklyn and Glens Falls, NY.
Winner of the Best Director Award at the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival 2015 for "Lake Nowhere" along with co-director Maxim Van Scoy.
